Petit déjeuner / breakfast and lunch snack

Food and drinks in the morning: from 8 till 9.30 hours we serve breakfast. When the weather is nice you will find your breakfast table on the terrace, otherwise in the dining room.
What does a Glycines breakfast look like?
Fresh bread, croissants, butter, honey, homemade jams, cheese, ham, orange juice, (English breakfast) tea, coffee, yoghurt, cereals, fruits.

Price of breakfast is included in the room price. Of course, upon request, our guests who rent a gîte can have breakfast. Price p.p. € 10.00.

You can order a lunch snack: a freshly made sandwich (half a baguette), fruit and a drink. 
Price p.p. per snack is € 6.50.



Plat du Jour, food and drinks in the evening
We are happy to serve you our Plat du Jour. A simple evening meal consisting of e.g. a pasta-dish with salad followed by desert.
Price p.p. € 18.00. Drinks are not included. (Please order the evening or morning before!)

On Friday and Saturday nights we do not cook, so there is no Plat du Jour. If you wish, you can prepare yourself a meal in the summerkitchen or you go for a bite in Laragne or Sisteron. Sheila can make a reservation for you.

Table d'hôtes, once a week

Eens per week table d'hotes

We love good food and the wine that goes with it. If you love the same, you have found the right address. Once per week we invite you to our table ( table d’hôtes ) to taste a number of regional dishes and wines. When cooking we use fresh and local products, mostly from our garden.

To give you an idea of a typical evening ‘table d’hôte’ at Les Glycines: At half past seven we start with an “apero”, e.g. a vin de pêche, a kir, pastis or beer or wine. Dinner may start with a tarte aux courgettes, followed by a gigot d’agneau Sisteronnais accompanied by a honey-thyme-porto sauce. Side dishes might include: rosemary potatoes baked in the oven, ratatouille, mixed green salad. Dessert can be tarte au citron mérenguée.

Price table d’hôtes: € 28.– p.p.  for three courses. Apero, wine and other drinks during the meal are invoiced separately.

The Wines

In our wine cellar we have a nice collection of wines. From
the Alpes de Haute Provence: white, rosé and red from Domaine La Blaque.
From the Côtes du Rhône: white, rosé and red from e.g. Domaine Richaud, Domaine de Dionysos (Remko’s family!), Gabriel Meffre.

Summer kitchen

Restaurants in the neighbourhood

On the evenings we don’t do a table d’hôtes, all our room guests are welcome to use the summer kitchen on the terrace under the wisteria.

We have a list of good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Please do not hesitate to ask us for a reservation!
